Block UserSo here is the deal. Christmas Eve I made a drastic move. I decided that I wasn't letting anyone or anything stop me from doing what I want any more and moved to Georgia with my sister for a new start.
My oldest Daughter, (the one that just had the baby) decided to stay in Ohio with her BF. Tried to make me feel as though I was abandoning her before I left, or at least that is the way it felt to me. But I finally just said, "you know, I did my part, you are 18 and perfectly capable of taking care of yourself. It is time to grow up. I can't do everything for you. It is time for me to do what I feel is right, regardless of what others think." And I left.
Shayla, Eric and I have been in Georgia since Christmas Morning. Things are going good. I have a great start to getting my painting business going again, the kids are in public school (which is super great for me). They actually like it here. I was pretty sure they would after they got over being mad at me for leaving Tonya in Ohio and moving away from their friends. Eric really loves it here and Shayla is making friends that are much better for her than the ones she had in Ohio. Of course they still talk to them on the computer but it isn't like them being right there to get them into trouble and things.
It is only like 2 hours to get to the Ocean. Which was my incentive for coming here. I love the ocean and wanted to be near it so bad. Not to mention it is sooooo much warmer here. LOL
So that is where I have been. I am sorry for not keeping in touch here, I have just been super busy trying to make things work here.
